Representatives of the Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals Jelena Bebić and Dragan Nikolić, members of the Group for Metrology in Chemistry, Department for Development of Metrology, participated in the Eurachem „8th Workshop Proficiency Testing in Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology and Laboratory Medicine“ and training „ISO 13528 and beyond“ in the workshop, as well as in the working group „Working Group on Proficiency Testing“, from October 5-10, 2014.

The organizers of the workshop were Eurachem and Eurolab, European Cooperation in the field of measurement in chemistry.
Meetings and training workshops were attended by more than 260 participants from 64 countries, among which were mostly PT scheme organizers, representatives of major manufacturers in the food industry and medicine, representatives of the national metrology institutes.

Working group meeting was attended by 13 participants - members of the working group who were also members of the Scientific Committee.

At the meeting officially were accepted two brief explanations of particular requirements to assist laboratories related to PT schemes (PT Leaflet).
