EMLMF

Cooperation between countries of the Euro-Mediterranean region in legal metrology was started in 1999. Later it became the Euro-Mediterranean Legal Metrology Forum – EMLMF whose goals are to: through shared experience together to solve the problems in the field of metrology; organize technical assistance; harmonize the field of legal metrology in the member countries with the principles applied in the European Union and support the participation of these countries in international and regional organizations. Federal Bureau of Measures and Precious Metals is signatory to the Protocol of Understanding, by which in 2003 it became a member of the Euro-Mediterranean Legal Metrology Forum (EMLMF).
