SECTION FOR CONTROL ON PRECIOUS METALS ARTICLES

• Initiatives to amend and draft regulations governing precious metals;
• Testing the structure and fineness of test needles made of precious metals;
• Determining whether conditions to be given the mark of a precious metal article manufacturer have been met and issuance of a decision on the mark of a precious metal article manufacturer;
• Testing of precious metal articles and their alloys;
• Keeping records and registers of verification of measuring instruments and examination of precious metal articles, and other activities in this field.

Activities falling within the scope of the Section are performed:

1. at the head office;
2. in the catchment unit of the city of Niš and Kruševac, located in Niš;
3. in the catchment unit of the city of Novi Sad, Subotica and Zrenjanin, located in Novi Sad;
