The Third International Conference AI_4_LIFE: The Future of Biotechnology (Biotech Future Forum) organized by the Government of the Republic of Serbia in cooperation with the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, the Office for IT and eGovernment, the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the World Economic Forum and the Program United Nations Development Program (UNDP), with the support of BIO4 Campus, was opened on October 24, 2024 in Belgrade.

The representatives of the Directorate for Measurements and Precious Metals at this conference were PhD Jelena Bebic, Head of the Group for Metrology in Chemistry, Jasmina Pavlovic, Head of the Group for Information Technology and Communication, and Ana Gajic, Adviser for analytical and professional-operational affairs.

The conference brought together leaders from the public and private sectors, as well as the academic community, with the aim of bringing the benefits of artificial intelligence and biotechnology closer to the wider and professional public in the country, as well as beyond, in line with global trends in these areas.
