The representative of the Directorate for Measures and Precious Metals (hereinafter: DMDM), Snezana Renovica, Head of the Group for Time and Frequency, participated in the work of the EURAMET Technical Committee for Time and Frequency EURAMET TC-TF, which was held from March 26 to 27, 2026 in Bern, Switzerland.

The organizer of the meeting was the National Metrological Institute of Switzerland METAS.

The EURAMET TC-TF meeting was attended by about 50 eminent experts, representatives of national metrology institutes (NMI) and designated institutes (DI) from most European countries, representatives of BIPM, authorized representatives of EURAMET, as well as colleagues from Asia and the USA.

Significant topics presented at the meeting were about cooperation between BIPM and EURAMET and progress in the field of strategic planning, enhanced cooperation within networks and digital transformation. Reports on activities in the past year, as well as reports on active projects, were submitted. All currently active networks are also presented.

Participation in EURAMET TC-TF meetings enables the collection and exchange of information important for fulfilling the obligations defined by the CIPM MRA Agreement, reporting and maintaining the quality of existing DMDM ​​services and the possibility of implementing new ones, as support for interested parties in the country.
