Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals, in the framework of the EURAMET Focus Group on Facilitating National Metrology Infrastructure Development (EURAMET FG-FNMID) Action Plan for 2014, hosted the „Training and Workshop on Principles of Strategic Management” in Belgrade, from December 4 to 5, 2014.

Training participants were representatives of the countries of South East Europe: Macedonia (BoM), Bosnia and Herzegovina (IMBiH), Montenegro (MBM), Albania (DPM), Serbia (DMDM), Croatia (HMI), Poland (GUM), Turkey (UME), Ireland (NSAI). Training was held with the technical assistance of the National Metrology Institute of Germany (PTB) and EURAMET.
Lecturer was an expert from the National Metrology Institute of Germany (PTB) Mr. Oliver Karkosvhka.

Training was interactive. Participants were divided into working groups, so that in the course of the workshop had the opportunity to exchange experiences with other participants.

Different aspects related to planning further activities in the work and the strategy of further development of the National Metrology Institutes were considered.
