Organized by the Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals, Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Accreditation Body of Serbia, under the auspices of the European Commission and the Institute for Reference Materials and Measurements (IRMM) as а project leader, at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, a TrainMiC - A training program for the measurement in chemistry, was held in a period of November 27-28, 2014. There were 19 participants, representatives of accredited laboratories for testing and calibration, institutes for public health, institutes, industry and laboratories in the accreditation process. Topics presented in this course were related to the metrology in chemistry, sampling as a part of measurement procedure, statistics for analytical chemistry part I and II, selection and use of reference materials and inter-laboratory comparison according to standard ISO/IEC 17025.
